Classical Midi Files

for the classical midi fan who's not afraid of Bartók...

Last updated on: Saturday, March 15, 2003
new Grieg Violin Sonata No.1 and No.2

Here are some of the GM classical midi files that I have done.
If your midi collection could use something other than the usual Beethoven 5th, Holst Mars,
Mozart Nachtmusik, or Händel Hallelujah Chorus, these files should do pretty well.

Sequences originally sequenced by Gary Goldberg (you can get the original files from here). What I did with them was to remap them to GM, adding some controller data, correcting wrong notes, and transposing instruments to concert pitch. I also made some changes to tempo and dynamics at certain points.

That's it for now. I am pretty busy working at the hospital, so expect new files approximately every three to four weeks. Do email me about wrong notes and other irregularities--midi files with correct notes do make easier listening (if you know what I mean).
