Hello, I'm sure there's a simple answer to this but I can't seem to find it...

I'm using an equalizer that is able to be controlled by MIDI input, and to broadcast it settings on a MIDI output. I would really like to be able to control it from the windows XP command line.

What I think I need is a very simple command line program to record all input off of my MIDI channel and write it to a midi file, and also a simple command line program that could take any midi file and put it out the midi port.

Everything I seem to be able to find deals with MIDI at a higher level (Note ons/offs, volume, etc), which seems incompatible with this non-obvious use of MIDI.

If it matters, the EQ is a Behringer DEQ2496.
