I recently bought an ex-demo S4+ from a local retailer,
and while I'm generally happy with the machine I've
found I'm getting some severe audio distortion on
some of the programs. The distortion sounds like harsh
digital clipping (a very scratchy sound).
It doesn't happen on all programs. It's particularly
rife in the "Pre4" programs (General MIDI), affecting
about thirty.
Does anyone have any ideas on what could be causing
this problem, and how to fix it?
