: I plan to buy a QS.
: QS6 has 8MB ROM & QS7 16MB.
: Doest that mean better quality sounds on QS7?
: Or simply does QS7 has more sounds ??

Well, the extra 8 MB in the QS7 pretty much consists of Alesis's great piano samples. Which leaves the same amount of memory for the rest, 8MB. Though some samples are the same, many are new, but quality wise they are the same (ie. 16-bit, 48khz I think). Different sounds. But for the extra cash, you get double expansion, a bigger (and perhaps better?) keyboard, and more of those well needed controllers. This all adds up to a synth well worth the extra 300 bucks. Had the QS7 been out when I bought mine, that's the way I would have gone. But like the other guy said, you can't go wrong with either one.
