The manual can be downloaded. The easiest way to do what you want is to customize one of the user mix's. Go to Mix mode and find a split preset, then change the sounds and, or effect, in it to the ones you want by using the edit button and the function keys to the right of the LCD. Then press save twice to overwrite, or, hit save then select a new location and save again to overwrite the new location.
