I purchased a Q-Card recently. When shopping, all stores told me they would exchange a defective card but would not take back an opened card just because you don't like it or changed your mine. So this could be a problem if you buy a card from the group and your not the registered owner.
p.s. I purchaed the Jazz Piano card hoping to get some good stock piano's. The card doesn't contain any. The raw sample has an very electric piano sound quality. I don't know what famous jazz piano they sampled, but it sounds like a 70's electric piano.
: I PURCHASED 2 Q-CARDS LAST NIGHT. "VINTAGE SYNTHS" & "HIP HOP". MY VINTAGE SYNTHS NEVER DID LOAD IN THE KEYBOARD. LUCKLY FOR ME THAT I'M A REGULAR CUSTOMER AT GUITAR CENTER. I HEAR THAT "ONCE U OPEN THE Q CARD PLASTIC" IT'S YOURS NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS OR WHAT DEFECT THE CARD MIGHT HAVE. I BROUGHT MY CARD BACK TODAY FOR A SWAP THAT WAS HANDLED NICELY. I GUESS WHUT I'M TRYING TO SAY IS: ASK THE SALESMEN TO LET U HEAR THE CARDS 1ST. BECAUSE IF IT'S DEFECTED IN ANYWAY U MIGHT NOT GET YOUR MONEY BACK. I ALSO HOPE THAT THIS POST DOESNT HURT Q CARD SELLERS IN THIS SITE. I'M SORRY IF IT DOES. BUT FOR SOME REASON THE Q CARDS ARE COMMING UP DEFECTED SOMEHOW...I'M THANKFUL THAT I DIDNT AUCTION THE Q CARD FROM EBAY OR BOUGHT IT SECOND HAND. I WOULD HAVE LOST MONEY. TO ALL MY FELLOW ALESIS USERS: BE CAREFUL WHEN DEALING WITH PURCHASING Q CARDS. SOME STORES ARE VERY STRICT ABOUT RETURNING OPENED CARDS. SORRY FOR THE LONG POST. JUST HAD TO LET MY FELLOW ALESIS PLAYERS NO WHUT'S GOING ON.....PEACE
