Thanks Chris. I never saw "receiving MIDI data" or got some error message because the file size was wrong The real problem was my browser didn't get the file size right when I downloaded the files from the Alesis site. Tried the other browser and that works. Also, someone was kind enough to email the files to me.
FYI. I also discovered that the expansion banks for the Qcard expect the card to be in Slot A. If the card is in Slot B you won't hear anything.

: I'm probably revealing a dumb thing here. I've been using my sequencer (Voyetra's Digital Orch Pro, which I think is great) to send banks to my QS without hitch. However, after I bought my Sanctuary card, I tried sending the extra banks, and couldn't see the changes. The synth said "Receiving MIDI data..." as usual as I sent the banks, but when I looked at the card, it was all the same sounds. Only after several tries did I realize that the extra banks go into the User bank (of course, it was obvious!) and everything was fine. Except that I had several good pipe organs I had created in my User bank and hadn't yet backed them up!
