For editing, I use QSEdit by SoundTower. It's only $35 and it works great. They threw in an editor for my Behringer DSP 1000 for free when I ask about multiple product discount. Here's the link.

I love both pieces of software. I have learned more about those two pieces of my gear since I got the software two months ago than I had in the year that I owned them.

I don't work for them or get a commission. (How much could a commission be off $35 anyway?!)

There is other software for the Alesis synths on this (midiworld) site. Take a look around.

: happy new year to everyone :) my question is about the alesis editing. i'm messing with the envelopes and all the other editing options on the qs7.1. I have come to a conclusion. editing is not as tough as everyone says it is. now it takes quite a bit of time to get things how u want them but it's not tough at all. i was pretty much forced to learn editing off the board due to alesis not respondin to my "cd rom driver" questions. i think i could cut alot of "scrolling threw tha screen" time down if i could see things as far as editing on a computer screen. if anyone have a clue as to how to get the alesis software to work or name of a software that works good for editing sounds please help me out.. thanks ohh yea i have a pc computer
