: : happy new year to everyone :) my question is about the alesis editing. i'm messing with the envelopes and all the other editing options on the qs7.1. I have come to a conclusion. editing is not as tough as everyone says it is. now it takes quite a bit of time to get things how u want them but it's not tough at all. i was pretty much forced to learn editing off the board due to alesis not respondin to my "cd rom driver" questions. i think i could cut alot of "scrolling threw tha screen" time down if i could see things as far as editing on a computer screen. if anyone have a clue as to how to get the alesis software to work or name of a software that works good for editing sounds please help me out.. thanks ohh yea i have a pc computer

: The emagic Sounddiver editor/librarian program on the factory CD-ROM works quite well and is easy too. If you can't get your QS synth to respond, make sure the serial connection is made and that the proper the PC 38.4 choice is set in the global menu.

Hi everybody,
I'm using SoundDiver as well and it's quite comfortable
once you get used to it.

I just wanted to reply in order to tell you about free
updates if you don't know already.
Checkout www.emagic.de
Use "Go to:" Updates in the support section, there is
a link for OEM Version Updates. Current is 3.0!!!

Have Fun!
