Hi - question regarding percussion in mixes.
I am using a QSR with a Roland A-70 keyboard controller.
I need to assign a specific percussion sound (i.e. block, cymbal, snare, etc), or, for that matter, other specific sounds to a given note on a keyboard (i.e. C2, C#2, D2, F6, etc.). Aside from assigning additional midi patches with pertinent pitch adjustments to the mix, what is the best way to assigin specific sounds to specific keys?
