I wouldn't just try it. You may actually damage something. Not too familiar with SRAM cards, but here's an example.
Yamaha cs6x uses 3.3 v smartmedia card. Stick in a 5 v card (looks the same) and you can screw up the synth for good.
Check out the specs carefully.
