if some of your buttons refuse to work do the following:
1. disconnect all midi-cables and swich the qs off and on. this will ensure that the qs is not being disturbed by some strange continous midi-signals.
2. if the problem persists, perform a re-initialization. before re-initializing, move the mod-wheel all way down to zero-position, otherwise the zero-point won't be adjusted correctly. then hold the quad-buttons 1 and 4 while powering on the machine (note that all settings and mix/program/edit parameters will be reset to factory defaults).
