Thanks again Greg - being that I don't have samples, I got pretty much what I needed through Mix mode.

: As for an easy way to do it- you got me there. However, there may be a way to work around it, using mixes. I don'tk now if it would work, as my brother is 'borrowing' my QS at the moment, but you might be able to create the drum sounds that sample on the key press using the regular drum mode, then making another sound in keyboard mode that only sounds on the key release- thus, getting the same effect, but which can only be achieved within a mix. However, if you are using your own samples, and have a program like Awave handy, you may be able to make it easier- just create a soundbridge (or samplecell 2) instrument file with all the key-release sounds you want, all mapped to the correct keys. Then, load them in, and, in the drum patch, make the fourth voice a keyboard mode instead of drum mode, and load those sounds. This way, you could (maybe) have the amp envelope and filter envelope commands useable for the key-release sounds. Actually, this may work with any sound, if you only want one sound to play on the release.

: Anyway, sorry for the long-winded response, I just get a little carried away thinking about these things.. If you dare try getting it to work, through the suggested or your methods, let me know whether it works or not. :)

: : Hi Greg

: : Thanks for the info - you were right-on the money. However, I wanted to do this in drum mode - but amp and filter envelops are not available.
