: Arpeggios are usually compose of notes of the same duration and equally spaced. You have to findout the bpm of the sample, and set the sequencer to play at that. Just record the arp live in another track in the sequencer live and quantize if you have to to get a tighter feel. Depends if you want to get more of a mechanical feel or more 'loose'.. make sure you start at the beginning of the measure, and have the notes equally spaced after that.
