The download from the emagic site is intended to update a purchased version 3.0 of SoundDiver. The Alesis version is 2.0, an older version and is written solely for QS synths. It will work with all the QS-line including S4's, S5's, plus pianos and QS 6,7,8 and .1's. But you must purchase the full blown version 3.0 which sells for around $150.00 bucks in order to install the update.
