Hi Berto!

I'll tell you about my common procedure. Others may have different ones.

The effects that you use on a mix come from the programs in itself, i.e. on a mix you can apply the effects of one and only one program that you have on a specific midi channel.

So step by step (I'll try it without the manual on my side, sorry):

1)Go through your programs, see which of these has the fine effects you need (use the sliders and try it out).

2) After finding it, switch to mix mode and assign that program to a midi channel.

3) Edit the mix so that the applied mix effect will come from that midi channel (see the manual or tweak around the buttons, but the manual is clear on this).

4) Then, while using your sequencer, there's a small trick. I use Cakewalk, let me say. So here's the thing... on the program mode, this program you've selected sometimes has the effects disabled, and you must tweak the sliders up to activate reverbs, delays, etc. Do the same while in mix mode. Select the track containing the midi channel/program where the effects come from, and tweak the sliders. If you hear the effects on that channel, then you can select another track/midi channel and you should be able to hear the same effects UNLESS that other(s) midi channel(s) has the effect parameter turned off (see the manual again - editing mixes, it's pretty straightforward).

So... by this time you should be ready to rock!

Remember, again, that the effects for the entire mix (all the channels) will come from one midi channel only, contained on the program that you've initially selected. And the amount of effects applied to each of the remaining channels can also be controlled or disabled.

I hope this might help. Don't hesitate to use my email for further questions.

Regards,

- Nelson

ps: final thought... don't forget to record the sliders movement on your sequencer, so that every time you load the song these sliders will assign the effect parameters amount. Peace.
