Hi there Rick,
I encountered the same problem. And the truth is, Alesis never came out with a serial driver for win2k.
I read however that another alternative is the Roland Serial MIDI Driver Ver.3.2 for Windows 2000> You can download it from the Roland page. Or if you need me to. I'll send it to you. Just give me an e-address where I can send it to.

: What has happened to alesis.com?? It's gone. This was poested earlier as an alternative driver: http://www.yamaha.co.uk/xg/html/software/s_serial.htm
