QS8 does not seem to be receiving midi from Sonar

Hello,

I am using the QS8 with Sonar. I can record midi fine. I can not however get the midi to play back to the QS8.

Is the set up the same for the Alesis to send and received midi?

Here is my set up: Keyboard Mode Out 1
Gen Midi Off
IO Midi
Mix GenMidi00
GM Multi
