My understanding, after wrestling around with the same deal, is: one can write sequences OR programs and mixes to the FLASH RAM card, OR, to the S-RAM card, but not both on the same card. Whenever I have tried to do both, the synth won't let it happen. So I use an S-RAM card for my extra banks, and a FLASH RAM for sequences.
If anyone knows a way to do what you describe, I too, would be interested in that proceedure.
Let's see if anybody out there has the know-how.
