: Got: QS7.1, Sanctuary Qcard in slot B, Sanctuary Xtra Banks in ._qs and .syx formats, Alesis SRAM 512k in slot A, SoundDiver, SoundBridge, other software from QS CD, Soundtower's QSEdit Pro, serial cable, computer, sound system.

: Want:
: 1)To replace the SRAM's expando drum and rhythm banks with Sanctuary's Xtra banks, and then to have these Xtra banks communicate correctly with the Sanctuary Qcard and regular QS ROM
: 2)Be able to edit various progs and mixes, with the QS knowing what ROM sounds to go after.

: So far I've been able to...
: 1)move the User bank to CardA-8. Still plays just fine.
: 2)use SoundDiver to transfer the Sanctuary Xtra-1.syx bank over to the User bank location. NO SOUND!!! Tried to initialize bank, but that just wiped out all that bank's names. Un-initialize fixed that, for what it's worth, 'cause there still is no sound. I can move the names around, like to CardA-7, but not figure out how to link these programs and mixes with the Sanctuary or any other ROM.

: Please help,
: Dwight

Well, after more digging in this forum's archives, I found the 4/7/2001 follow-up post by Jason to 4 Banks On SRAM. The QCard must be in the A slot, the SRAM in the B. Hadn't seen that information elsewhere, or at least it didn't sink in. I'm good to go now! :-)
