Are you talking about the editor like Unisyn or Sound Diver, or are you talking about Sound Bridge?
I have XP and I use Sound Bridge 2.52 with no problems. I've not installed an editor yet, so maybe I'm not yet qualified to address your question until I try to do the same thing.
