I tried what you said, but to no avail. using the Bome's, I have gotten the qs to send midi data, and i even got it to transmit the bank i wanted successfully (so my computer said). However, When i checked the qs, the bank was not there.

I am using the Bome's SendSX at the request of ALesis Customer Support. I have connected the qs8 using a Uno Midiman USB connector (with one midi in and one midi out converginging to a usb cable). I am running windows xp. I also have Cakewalk and Freeloader. Here is the thing. I know nothing about midi at all. every time I try to learn it, i fail, such as with this. Do i need to change a setting on the QS8? The I/O is already set to MIDI. I did see something on here about sending the entire user bank over, and i think i did that right, but doest that erase the user bank and allow me to load new patches? Do i have to erase the user bank or patches to load new ones? can I load just one patch at a time in echange for erasing an existing user patch? The Bome's Sens SX shows that it is sending the bank I want to go into the QS8 but it is not there, or I can not find it. I have seen the extreme knowledge you guys on this site seem to have and I would be very thankful for any help, I know I listed a lot of stuff here. Thank you.
