Hi - I want to map a sample of a sound effect to the top key(on the keyboard) of a mix, but I dont want the pitch of the sample to be different. I used Soundbridge to burn the sample to a card and I have a program that the optimum pitch for the sample is middle C, say. I have been able to pitch shift the sample up to 2 octaves , but I need more as I use an 88 key keyboard. How can I map the original sample so it is the pitch I want at that high key? THis would be useful for performing songs live, such as Back in the Ussr where I want the Jet sound to be that top key, out of the way of the piano and not have to switch patches on the fly. thx
