I'm not sure about playing with a card, but you can
certainly play along while a sequence is running
from a sequencer software program. I'm using the
Cubasis program that came with my QS8, and you can
record up to 16 tracks, playing the QS in Multitimbrl
mode, and play along with what you've recorded. I would
anticipate you could do the same from a card, although
I'm not sure about this.
I like my QS8 a lot. When playing multitimbrl stuff
though, you have to pick one 'effect' to use, and this
sometimes changes the way some of the instruments sound.
The multitimbrl mix is not quite as nice as the individual
sounds that you hear in 'program' mode.
