WAhoo!@ it turns out it was my sbawe32 that was a piece of shit, QSR tested out fine at the dealers place, so i bought a new soundcard, the new SB -=PCI=- 64, runs flawlessly now...good card btw..supports up to 48khz sample rates (wahoo!).
