Hey Manny,
Thanks anyway. I don't really understand the question
but it sounds like the qs7 responds to midi messages only
some of the time. If this is the case make sure that the
keyboard mode(located in global edit) is set to "out 1"
When you click on a track within Cakewalk whatever sound
that is assigned to that tracks midi channel should play.
Make sure that you are in mix mode and that that midi
channel's sound is enabled.
You could also try starting with Gen Midi bank mix 00
GM MULTI. All the channel's sounds are enabled.
