: I'm going to be purchasing a GINA card for recording pretty soon, and I'm kind of up in the air about what audio/sequencing software to use. Cubase seems to be one of the more popular packages out there, but does anyone have any information about Cakewalk 7.0?

: BTW, I'm running Win95 and the Alesis Serial Driver.

Well, the GINA card comes with a pretty good multi track
recorder...it doesn't have alot of MIDI features
but if you are looking to use it like a 4-track it
is good.
I use CakeWalk 5.0. If you are really serious about
recording, it is the way to go. It has full MIDI
implementation, you can assign the QS8 instruments
to it and play back through the keyboard or the soundcard
It does take a while to learn though..

Hope this helps..
