I can now do the effects the way you described and they seem to map correctly when I play through Cakewalk...
Another question though: can the controllers A-D be assigned to different channels independently? I would like to be able to control the effects level or each channel individually. Is this not possible because of the limitations of the MIX mode?
So is there just one 'global' setting for the controllers which is obeyed by all channels, or can you have separate controller values on each channel?
