I built a serial cable (to PC) from the diagram listed on this site and it doesn't work.
I rang out the connections with a meter twice so I'm pretty sure everything is right.
The setup window says that no synth is found. I tried it on my Pentium running Win95
and also on an old 386 laptop running Win3.1.
Has anyone else had the same problem? I'd like to narrow down the problem before I
waste money on another cable.
