    What sequencing program are you using? I use Cakewalk and I know that it has a default to echo notes played on my QS8. Every time I start a project I have to change the project options for "no midi echo" (which is irritating and awkward, but oh well).

    If it is a very tight phaser sound you get, perhaps this would fix the problem.
