I called tech support at Alesis and he knew right away; my sound card was too old and wouldn't do the MIDI dump correctly. So the files were getting corrupted on the way over I could still play Midi files, but sysex wasn't working. Luckily the QS+P is light and I could drag it upstairs. I tried it on my main computer and it worked fine. Thanx!!!!!!!!! JP
