The sound files are actually patches (programs and mixes).
Most of them are in SYSEX (system exclusive) format,
which is the language of synthesizers, in this case
Alesis synths. Any computer can read those files,
all you need is a simple sysex utility.
Try Freeloader (it's on the QS7 CD-ROM), it should do the job.
Unisyn uses its own format, it can read the patches
directly from your QS (once you succesfully transferred the patches
in sysex format).
It's not a PC - Mac issue, it's a synth thing...
