Try changing your Alesis driver from the default transfer rate to 38.4k - it took me from crashes to smooth sailing.

: I find my computer crashing with any type of sequencer software. I have looked at the suggestions by the forem to resolve this problem. I do not have a problem playing back MIDI sequences or up/downloading new banks. If I am playing back a sequence and change a slider it freezes the computer up. Is this a seriel driver problem? When is the Alesis corp. going to get their act straight? I have invested a lot of money in many of their products and have not recieved quality tech support
