I ended up downloading the Roland driver, and it is now installed and working on my computer. However, after I record a sequence and try to play it back, the speed slows down or speeds up considerably and even locks up. I have tried setting the Kbs to its
highest setting, but that has not helped. It does this in both sequencing programs I have.
(Studio 4, an old prog. and Steinberg Cubasis, a demo that came with the QS.) Currently I have ALL settings set to 38.4Kbs, (the QS8, my COM port, and the Driver) so speed setting is not a problem as far as I know. I also can't seem to figure out how to correctly play back MIDI sequences already on my computer.
