I use a QS7 for live gigging, and we play lots of different styles of music, including jazz, r&b, classic rock, you name it. It sounds marvelous. I was very spoiled by Ensoniq keyboards friendly user interface, so that's my main complaint about the QS's, but it's worth it for the sound. I bought the QS for four reasons: 1. the piano and B3 sounds were superb, 2. the keyboard felt *great* (qs7), 3. the RAM card made it possible to add your own sounds, and 4. it would play back my midi sequences.
