For the folks out there who are confused about operating the QS-series synths, and those who think Alesis may be a little less-than-helpful on line, and those who may have had a service problem or two; you should check out some of the new Yamaha EX-5 synth chat/discussion sites. HORROR STORIES GALORE!!!
People trying to get more up-dated operating versions (now up to 1.09 I think) and it's still not fully bug-free! I know that this doesn't answer any pertinent posers out there in cyber/synth space, but just reading the entrees on those EX-5 chat lines will make us true Alesis fans indeed!!! (if not laugh and roll on the floor of your computer room)
    Happy Sequencing,
    Paul W.
