The *.syx files can be loaded into your user bank via Freeloader, which should have come with your Q-card. But before you do that, you may want to locate the .syx file that corrisponds to the default user bank. It's on a disk that came with your QS. Its also availible from this site.
There are also a bunch more .syx files that can be loaded into your user bank.

: you are most probably right about the rom cards not being reformattable...but then how do you use the extra *.syx bank for that card?
