If you are still wanting to use it as a sequencer you will need to put in the midi line before the Qs6.1 but if you just want to take advantage of the samples and use the computer to sequence it can be before or after the Qs6.1 in the chain.
If you use it as a sequencer than you will need to sync it up to the computer using MTC.See your manual for how to do that.
