In Cakewalk I changed the port using "track properties" and the instrument button so that I can access the preset banks on my Alesis. After doing this, general midi files no longer play.
Is there any quick way to switch between general midi and Alesis sounds? Is there a way to prevent cakewalk from saving the port change?
