You may want to just check you line levels for the computers volume controls you may have your recording inputs set to something other than wave/midi etc. On win 95 and 98 you can just double click on the Speaker icon in your tool bar, if your on a mac i can't help ya.

Check you Line input and your Wave levels, and make sure none of them are muted.

: Hey all, my qs71 is working great...love the results, and im ready to take my completed midis and convert them to waves so i can put them on a cd. I just bought a new computer...and am using sound forge to do so....however, when i turn the level monitor on, there is no reading that there is any sound coming in when i play the midi. There isnt even any movement on the level meter when i play a standard wave file, or talk through the mic. However, i do get a reading when i have am playing a CD. Everything worked fine on my old computer, and the qs71 main outs are going to the line in on the back of my sound card (soundblaster live). am i doing something wrong here? i would appreciate any info given, im so disappointed in what is happening. Thanks,
: Luke
