Alesis Effects algorithm wanted (very technical)

I like to build up custom programs into a full mix and then build cool songs out of them. The problem with the QS effects design is of course that a mix can only choose one effects set that ends up working with every program for that mix (I want to be able to have my sequencer play the mix live and give each program the effect that best suits each)

I would like to know if anyone has developed an algorithm to take say 16 effects parameter sets and come up with a best-fit single effect set that each program could then be mapped into to produce as close as possible the original program's effect set.

Doing this by hand is truely an art. It would seem that some systems engineering theory might be applied here to come up with such a tool. I think such a tool would also greatly enhance the worth and ease of use of any QS instrument.

Seems like it might be possible to do this with something like a CAL script.
