: Hello,

: I'm looking for any recommendations for an amp/speaker setup to use onstage with my QS6.1. I am usually playing in a 5 pc. band playing for 75-200 people. Also, what is the best way to maintain the stereo separation onstage?

: Previously, I've always gone direct and mixed from a monitor, but I'd like to have more keyboard onstage volume available.
: Thanks in advance.

Hi rick, I'm using a Yorkville 300K keyboard amp. I don't see too many of them around, but I'm pretty content w/ mine. 150 watts x 2, 3-pairs of stereo inputs, two xlr or 1/4" mic channels, 1 extra channel (aux w/rca's or 1/4") five inputs sets in all. two fx sends on each of the five input sets. Two 10" woofers, two horns. Left and right outs on back, xlr's, 1/4"'s, rca's. for sound board/extra amps, etc.
Have had good luck with it so far. Stereo separation isn't as good as I would like, but it's there. Works pretty good w/ QS8-"lezlie". I like the looks on that new stereo Motionsound amp w/ the angled front and leslie horn built in the top, but a pretty high retail, $1200. You should be able to find 300K amp at www.yorkville.com. I've seen a lot of Rolands around, but you need two to get real stereo. Good luck. Paul W.
