Thanks so much for posting your similar situation. It HAS indeed helped me decide what I can do to word clock my stuff properly. I was under the immpression from both MOTU and Alesis tech support people that I spoke with that the QS8 couldn't sync off of anything other than a BRC. Thanks to you, I know that it IS possible to get the QS8 and 2408 to connect together just by using a cleaner clock master source!
