Hi -I just bought a QS 8.1 and am interested in creating (or finding) mixes with bass and elct pianos/organs etc on the right hand. The Alesis CD ROM had SoundDiver on it, but I cant seem to get it to do what I want. For one thing, when I call up a mix for editing, the display page, which has the instruments listed one above the other, seems buggy. For example, when I adjust any of the instruments, the instrument above it sounds, and not the one I am adjusting. I thought this may have to do with midi channel assignments, but it doesn't appear you can change this in this editing window. Also I find it odd that while you can define the zone on the keyboard you wish the sound to be active on, it doesn't allow you to play it (even when you have autosurf on). Has anyone else experienced these troubles?
Is the Sound diver a good program or is there something more intuitive out there??
