For us QS7/8 users wanting to record on our computers, we need a soundcard with an ADAT interface to take advantage of the QS7/8's ADAT digital output.
I can't find many soundcards with an ADAT input *and* 24 bit a/d conversion.
How can I take full advantage of my recording/sequencing software Cubase VST/24 if I'm using a soundcard that doesn't have 24 bit a/d convertors.
Anyone have some recommendations for a soundcard?
The only ones that I know of are the Lexicon Core 2 and the Aardvark Aark24.
The Lexicon is priced favorably at $399 but it has some bugs in the driver. The Aark 24 is about double the price of the Core 2. This is too much to pay.
Other suggestions?
