I've successfully used a pedal to advance through the programs on a QS8 by plugging the patch change pedal (actually the pedal that comes with the QS8) into one of the pedal sockets on the back of a Kork 01/W and connecting the Korg to the QS8 via MIDI. Bit of a long way round.

: : Does anyone know if a footpedal can be used to switch sequencially through a program list? This would be handy during performance.

: As far as I know, no, you can't. Some older analog synths had program advance footswitch jacks, but MIDI program changes have replaced that.
: You can use a MIDI foot controller switch to send change commands though.I've seen a couple different kinds I just can't remember them right now. Check your music store.
