Last year, when the QS8.1 came out, Alesis was giving away a free Q-Card with the remaining QS8 keyboards that dealers still had in stock. Since the QS8.1 is only a minor improvement (IMHO), I went for the discounted QS8 and free Q-Card. I don't know when a deal like this will be available again, but if I hear of anything, I'll post it here.
