Check out the following link for a jazz piano card review.

and for the vintage synths card

From both it looks like the vintage synths card is your best bet. If you do get either one of them sumbit another post! I'm interested in getting the vintage synth card myself. I personally run all piano sounds thru my kurzweil pc88mx, my qs-6 piano sound are pathetic and I've never bothered with any of the piano cards. The opinion I've had from fellow users about alesis's piano cards is that they do alright cutting thru a mix but they sound dry and dull in solo work.

: I just purchased the new "Stereo Classical Piano" Qcard (price has dropped to $100 at Mars Music!!)and must say I'm not very pleased. I much prefer the "stock" piano sample on QS8 (Patch 00, Bank 1). I have gone through all 64 of them, and they all sound a little "thin/dead/fakey" (subjective, I know) to me, compared to the on-board sample. Also, some of them have some real glaring transition problems in the C4-C5 range. Unfortunately, Mars had no sample cards open for preview, so I hope they will exchange this for a different one. I'm wondering if anyone has compared the Jazz card to the Classical and what their thoughts were. If I can't preview it or get some input, I'll probably just get the vintage synth card. Any input will be appreciated!
