I have no idea if this is the proper way to do it, but I have my QS7.1 hooked up to my soundcard (a split cable, two 1/4" plugs from the synth to a single 1/8" connector which goes into the stereo line input on my soundcard).
Using my soundcard's recording software, I select the input line as my source, verify the levels, and play back the sequences in MicroLogic. While it is playing back, I am similtaneously recording the playback. Once the sequence has run through
I usually save it as a wav file and after its verified, burn it to CD and/or convert the wav to MP3 with Shuffler or Audioactive. This method works really well for me, but only of course if your synth is the only sound source you're using.
In this case, the more RAM the better, also.
