I have a QS6 and have been trying to get it and my PC to play nice and talk to each other using the
serial port driver. I have downloaded the newest version of the driver from Alesis and install every-
thing just like it says. Even thought my PC says everything is working fine, they still don't seem to
"see" each other. My computer is a AMD K6/2 333Mhz, plenty of mem and all that. An earlier post by
a guy with a QS8 seemed to be having the same problem. When selecting a COM port my choices
are COM 1 and disabled. COM 2 is never mentioned. COM 1 is where my modem and things are, I
really screwed up some stuff the first time I tried to set this stuff up and now that it's back to normal I
can't get it to do anything. I'm not a computer genius, obviously, so if anyone can help me please
do.
